That idea had been brewing in my head for a while and I couldn't bring myself to put it into practice. On January 9th, while I was looking for something to publish for the 12th - snubbing the sixty or so ideas pinned down which, as usual, didn't make me want to write - I quickly made the decision and filled the void of Thursday. New Year New Life That's what they say, right? By now you will have understood my relationship with technology : I don't have a good relationship with technology. So, the less I use, the more time I will have for my literary projects for this year that has just begun. And for the next ones too, of course.
It must also be considered that the more articles I publish per week on the blog, the more time I am forced to spend in front of a screen. This isn't healthy. Above all, I have the Special Data habit of never being satisfied, of rejecting all the ideas that come to me for articles. For years now, I have only rarely read something new in blogs. But a blog doesn't have to teach you something or solve a problem. A blog must also just "talk" to readers. However, even to “talk” you have to have something interesting to say. And I keep rejecting ideas. One post a week to live better Yes, to live better. To reduce blogging anxiety. To have more time to reflect. To write something worthwhile.
To avoid falling into repetitions. To do something else. The box with plasticine that I had my sisters buy me has still been sealed for over two years. I had in mind to make my own Wallace and Gromit, but I always gave up on it due to lack of time. Now that box will be opened, finally. Not everything I put off is the blog's fault, but the blog sucks up a huge amount of time and mental resources and in the end there is nothing left, because everything ends up on the back burner. One post a week to live better and breathe more freedom. Thursday's post I mentioned this too. On Edgar Allan Poe's website – which came back to life after 4 years of silence on January 4th – I publish on Wednesdays and on «Blue Pen» on Thursdays, in the middle of the week. See you next Thursday, then, when I'll talk about... I don't know yet. But tomorrow, after all, is another day.
